The description below is the retailer’s own wording.

Bright and lively red color. Its charming nose gives mineral fragrances followed by hints of sour cherry and pink flowers. The juicy palate opens with citrusy sensations enriched by blueberry aromas. Tannins are lively and well-balanced. Its delicious finish is supported by vibrant acidity and crisp young fruitiness. A soft and crunchy wine with plenty of red cherry, light chocolate and orange peel aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with creamy, open-grained tannins and a savory, juicy finish. Drink or hold. The 2021 Brunello Di Montalcino comes from a warm but not extreme growing season, helped by timely rain and a normal harvest window. It pours a deep ruby red hue and opens with black raspberries, violets, fresh earth, licorice, and rosemary. Medium to full-bodied, it feels more vertical and energetic than the 2020, with a bright spine of acidity, well-defined tannins, and a long, focused finish that stays light on its feet. Drink 2026-2040. Not to diminish Casanova di Neri's single-vineyard offerings, but in 2021, my money is on the white label. This bottling brings together the estate's historic parcels in the cool district of Torrenieri, and it will need a few more years before unveiling its full potential. For now, traces of damp earth, black tea and cinnamon bark transpire with coaxing. The tight and sinewy frame guards the fruit closely but allows gorgeous floral perfumes to slowly seep out. Fine, chalky tannins are long and tactile. Very zesty too.
