The description below is the retailer’s own wording.

An elegant and refined vintage Cava from Roger Goulart. Produced in the Penedès region using the traditional method, this 2023 Vintage Brut is a blend of Xarel·lo (40%), Macabeo (30%) and Parellada (30%). Its extended ageing in the bottle lends it finesse and complexity. Aged in the bottle for at least 18 months, it develops fine effervescence and lovely freshness. On tasting, its pale yellow colour with greenish highlights reveals fine, even effervescence. The nose is fresh and expressive, characterised by apple, pear, citrus and a hint of pineapple, complemented by delicate notes of yeast and fresh bread. On the palate, it captivates with its balance of freshness, roundness and a touch of sweetness, with a silky texture and a lingering finish featuring fruity and slightly toasty nuances.
