Source-supplied bottle description

‘Envers de Valmur’ is a 1.65-hectare plot, facing south-west and situated at the far end of the Vaudésir Grand Cru Valley. Produced from vines over 50 years old, it brilliantly expresses all the nobility of its terroir. Lively, precise and intensely briny, it displays a lovely freshness on the palate, underpinned by subtle ageing that combines stainless steel and oak. The nose, meanwhile, charms immediately with its notes of white flowers and crisp citrus. Under the leadership of Lyne Marchive and now supported by the new generation, Domaine des Malandes has established itself as a sure bet in Chablis, constantly striving for finesse and purity. A distinguished cuvée, to be enjoyed now or laid down for a few years in the cellar… A real favourite for lovers of vibrant white wines!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
