The Clos de Bèze plot at Domaine Henri Rebourseau covers just 0.33 hectares, planted with vines averaging around 51 years old, facing east on a steep slope benefiting from excellent sunshine and natural ventilation. Historically, this vineyard is one of the oldest Burgundy clos: it owes its name to the Abbey of Bèze, which received these lands in 630, and the winegrowing tradition on this site has continued for centuries. The terroir is particularly prestigious: in the upper part, the soils are very marly, while lower down they become brown limestone, offering a perfect combination for a powerful yet refined expression. This geological configuration, coupled with the age of the vines and the estate's biodynamic viticulture, gives the wine a rare nobility, a salty intensity, a floral elegance and a perfectly balanced structure, worthy of the greatest Crus of the Côte de Nuits.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
