The description below is the retailer’s own wording.
La Closerie des Alisiers is a Burgundian wine merchant specialising in the selection of quality wines from across Burgundy’s great terroirs. For this cuvée, the house presents a Chambertin Grand Cru from a plot where viticulture is carried out with particular rigour, with constant attention paid to the quality of the grapes. A vintage sought after for its maturity and balance, 2009 finds a particularly accomplished expression here. After more than fifteen years of development in the bottle, the wine has reached a stage of remarkable maturity, where the depth of the Pinot Noir is accompanied by evolved notes, a refined texture and great length. A bottle intended for connoisseurs seeking a Burgundy Grand Cru that has reached a particularly interesting stage of maturity.
