This Champagne is complex, like a mature white wine, with rich fruit, nutty notes, and a creamy mousse. In mouth, a rich mix of brioche, toasted hazelnut, and dried fruit, with hints of fresh custard and white peach. It's intense and food-friendly, drinking well now and potentially interesting over the next decade. This has so much energy and vivacity and refined, vinous character. It's dry and focused with notes of bread crust, grapefruit, dried orange, chalk and a hint of clove. All about the tension. Long and tightly wound. 80% pinot noir and 20% chardonnay. One third perpetual reserve of cuvee MV and two thirds perpetual reserve of cuvee Esprit. The MV PR 20-90 is a blend of reserve wines from 2020 to 1990, with the youngest vintage accounting for about 30%, taken from the MV and Esprit programs. Soft, silky contours wrap around a core of green apple, lemon confit, ripe pear and white flowers. This understated, gracious Champagne is quite the charmer. Disgorged: December 19, 2023.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
