Source-supplied bottle description

The ‘Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2020' lives up to its name: it is a pure Chardonnay, the white grape variety of the Champagne appellation. It displays the remarkable characteristics of its vintage: distinguished and very elegant. Its regional character combines Chardonnays from the Premiers Crus, others from the slopes of the Sézannais and Petit Morin, as well as more generous Chardonnays from the Marne Valley and the Montagne de Reims. It reveals notes of honeysuckle, lime blossom and acacia. This floral character is complemented by hints of citrus, with lemon and bergamot taking centre stage. These notes gradually fade to make way for richer aromas of butter, fresh honey and lemon cream, which enrich the overall profile.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
