Source-supplied bottle description
Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.
Produced from selected vineyards in the Western Cape, on high-altitude soils comprising a mix of schist and granite, this wine embodies both opulence and finesse. Vinification in French oak barrels and ceramic vessels, followed by ageing on lees for 12 months, lends it complexity, texture and balance. The nose opens with refined aromas of green apple, citrus and white-fleshed fruits, complemented by hints of peach, ripe pineapple and lemon zest. The texture is silky and balanced, with flavours of tropical fruits underpinned by a mineral backbone. The ageing process lends a slight roundness and buttery, toasty nuances, without ever overpowering the fruit. The finish is long, pure and refreshing, characterised by lovely tension and great elegance.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
