Chateau d'Esclans is located on an exceptional site, on elevated land near the Gorges de Pennafort, twenty five kilometers northwest of the ancient Roman city of Frejus on the Mediterranean coast. Rock Angel is an iconic Provençal rose from the Chateau d'Esclans. Pushing the envelope of Provence Roses, this combination of Grenache and Cinsault with some Syrah and Rolle (AKA Vermentino) hails from the best vineyard areas of La Motte en Provence. This rose is more than just a superb aperitif, it is also a fine wine with exceptional versatility that can successfully pair with a broad range of fine cuisines. If you serve it, they will come!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
