This refined Bordeaux comes from a distinguished 44-acre estate in Cussac-Fort-Médoc, situated along the famed Route des Châteaux , just 6km from Margaux and neighbouring Saint-Julien. The estate’s proximity to the Gironde estuary provides an ideal microclimate for slow ripening and complex flavour development.

Production

The blend comprises 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. Traditional winemaking is followed by 12 months of maturation in French oak barrels, with one-third renewed each year to balance freshness with subtle oak influence.

Production

is limited to around 8,500 cases annually, underscoring its artisanal scale.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in colour, the wine opens with an aromatic burst of ripe black and red berries, layered with exotic spice and delicate oak. The palate is generous and concentrated, combining lush fruit with refined tannins. Notes of spice and cedar lend elegance, while the finish is long, harmonious, and structured with a distinct woody refinement. Food match Ideal with classic Bordeaux pairings such as roast lamb, rib of beef, duck breast, or aged hard cheeses. Grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
