Under the management of the Borie family, critics have soon started extolling the virtues of these exceptional wines from Fourcas-Borie. They have been described as well structured, joyful and rich in black fruit flavours. The soil adds a mineral note to the rich fruit flavours and aromas, giving the Fourcas-Borie wines a quite particular palate of flavours. This 2016 vintage develops floral notes on the nose with aromas of blackcurrant and blueberry. The palate's attack is smooth and silky with a long, expressive finish. An excellent vintage!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
