Source-supplied bottle description

Opposite Château Haut-Brion, Mission Haut-Brion covers 30 hectares of vines planted on gravelly soil that is slightly richer than that of its famous neighbour. This 2019 vintage has a deep garnet colour and offers a nose of crushed blackcurrant, dark chocolate and morello cherries, with notes of tobacco, minerals and charcoal. The intensity on the palate is fantastic, with numerous mineral nuances and firm, grainy tannins. The finish is very long and fabulously energetic. A very promising 2019 vintage!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
