Château Latour in Pomerol, acquired by Madame Loubat in 1917, is situated in the heart of the Pomerol plateau. Managed by Établissements Jean-Pierre Moueix since 1962, it has been owned by them since 2024. The vineyard, with its gravelly, clayey and loamy soils, offers complexity and harmony. The vines, which are on average 25 years old, are harvested by hand. Vinification takes place in concrete vats, followed by ageing in oak barrels. The 2020 vintage stands out for its fine balance between elegance, power and smoothness, with aromas of ripe fruit and toasted oak. Ready to drink now, it can still age for a further 10 years in the cellar.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
