The dress has a beautiful bright garnet color with fine ruby reflections. Elegant nose of wild strawberry and blueberry, enhanced by a touch of cardamom. In the mouth, the wine is vibrant with a liveliness that gives it a beautiful length on Napoleon cherry and nutmeg notes. Exuberant and attractive, the 2022 Roc de Calon displays a gourmand, vibrant bouquet of cassis, violet and sweet berries mingled with delicate minty notes. Medium to full-bodied, round and supple, it's perfectly enrobing with a charming mid-palate enhanced by velvety tannins and a long, fresh finish. This blend of unknown proportions of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec promises great aging potential and is thoroughly enjoyable for immediate pleasure. This savory red has notes of currants, dried herbs and mussel shells on the nose. Some iodine, too. It's medium-bodied with fine tannins and a lightly saline finish. Drink in 2027.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
