Blend: 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc Perfumed and juicy, this ripe wine has fully integrated tannins. From a 19-acre vineyard, the wine is still firm with structure and concentration. Drink from 2025. Aromas of ripe berries with sweet tobacco, walnut and savory herb undertones. Medium-bodied with a meaty structure and velvety tannins. Broad and opulent mid-palate with succulent fruit and a lingering finish. 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc. Attractive now, but better give it a year or two to soften more. The 2020 Tessendey is a success in this vintage, exhibiting aromas of blackberries, cherry, rose and flowers. On the palate, it's medium-bodied and juicy with a lively and calcareous finish that provides some freshness. This Fronsac is already drinking well.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
