The description below is the retailer’s own wording.
One of Geografico’s most iconic wines, the Chianti Classico Contessa di Radda pays tribute to Countess Willa of Tuscany, a historical figure from the region and the village of Radda in Chianti, in the province of Siena. Created in 1978, this traditional cuvée, dominated by Sangiovese and complemented by a touch of Merlot, is characterised by its fruity aromas (cherry, plum), spicy notes and a distinct scent of violet. On the palate, it reveals pronounced tannins in a dry, balanced mouthfeel, leading to a fresh and clean finish. An ideal wine to accompany a simple everyday dish, such as spaghetti Bolognese, a slow-cooked meat dish or mature cheeses.
