Source-supplied bottle description

Chiroubles is one of the highest-altitude crus in Beaujolais, situated on granite-rich slopes offering ideal conditions for the even ripening of Gamay. The old vines used for this cuvée allow for natural concentration and a more precise expression of the grape variety. The Jules Métras estate follows a low-intervention approach to viticulture and winemaking, prioritising respect for the grapes and their environment. The grapes are harvested by hand, and vinification is carried out in a way that preserves the fruit's aromatic integrity, with gentle extraction. The 2024 vintage is characterised by a wine with a distinct aromatic profile, marked by notes of fresh red fruit, a light to moderate structure and a fluid texture. The overall impression highlights the finesse of the Chiroubles terroir and the concentration provided by the old vines.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
