This 100% Melon de Bourgogne is the antithesis of Muscadet wine's technology and industry in the service of expressing the terroir. The siliceous soils from metamorphic rocks contribute much to this wine of tremendous elegance and style. Harvested 100% manually and barrelled in entire crops, the handling of these wines is by gravity only, no pump, fermented by artisans using solely indigenous yeasts. Work in the vineyard and wineries is conducted in full respect for nature and the environment. The wines have been made using biodynamic methods since 1998, with Demeter and Biodyvin certification. During tasting, you will enjoy its crystalline colour and intense, balanced and iodine nose of citrus fruits and vegetables, all perfectly balanced. The aromatic development is perfect. It starts off sharp on the palate and then develops on a slender and fine body. The finish offers good length; here is a superb bottle still at a reasonable price, so enjoy it!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
