Classified as Touraine-Oisly, Climat N°1 offers a chance to discover a new Touraine appellation, the only one to produce exclusively white wines. Created in 2011, the AOC Touraine-Oisly combines Sauvignon Blanc with the unique soils around Oisly, in the wine-growing region of Sologne, between the Loire (to the north) and the Cher (to the south). Spanning 5 of the 9 communes within the Touraine-Oisly appellation, Lionel Gosseaume crafts Climat N°1 from the finest plots of his estate and highly ripe grapes, aged for many months on fine lees. Influenced by the sands of Sologne and flint-rich clays, this cuvée offers a fresh expression of Sauvignon Blanc. On the nose, the 2024 vintage reveals aromas of white flowers, apricot and exotic fruits. On the palate, it is supple, fresh and lively, consistent with the nose. Well-balanced, it displays a delicate acidity that lengthens the slightly bitter finish, affirming its powerful yet elegant character. Already a pleasure to drink, the Climat N°1 2024 will age beautifully... Quite the contrary!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
