Vintage after vintage, Clos Apalta asserts its place among the greatest wines of the New World. Made from the estate's oldest vines, this blend, inspired by the great Bordeaux châteaux, offers a striking expression of the Apalta terroir in the Colchagua Valley. The 2021 vintage, aged for 27 months in French oak barrels, displays a powerful and silky structure with captivating complexity. Its rich nose of black fruits, spices and pepper gives way to a full-bodied attack on the palate, followed by broad, velvety tannins and an endless finish. The balance between concentration and freshness is impressive. Unfiltered and unfined, this certified biodynamic wine is a work of art in its own right.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
