Source-supplied bottle description

Fabien Jouves, a young, experienced winemaker, took over the family vineyard on the slopes of Trespoux, the highest part of the appellation, in 2006. Using organic viticulture methods, this estate offers an intelligent, modern vision of Cahors wine, based on a desire to preserve the fruitiness of the Malbec grape while at the same time expressing the terroirs. Cochon de dieu is a cuvée in the spirit of the wines released in the spring. But this one has a little more shoulder while retaining its character. Light and fruity, it expresses fresh fruit and citrus notes with tenderness. The perfect convivial wine!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
