Vignaquadra Pecorino IGT, Terre di Chieti is an elegant white wine from Abruzzo, crafted entirely from Pecorino grapes harvested at the end of September at an average yield of 60 hl per hectare. The grapes undergo a brief pre-fermentation maceration at low temperatures upon arrival at the winery, followed by gentle destemming and controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel. This meticulous process preserves the wine’s delicate fruit and floral character, ensuring freshness and purity in every glass.

Meet the Producer

Vignaquadra represents the modern face of Abruzzo winemaking, combining respect for tradition with contemporary techniques to highlight the unique qualities of native Italian grape varieties such as Pecorino.

Production

Hand-harvested grapes are cold-macerated before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. No oak ageing is used, allowing the varietal’s natural aromatic intensity and freshness to shine through.

Tasting Notes

A luminous straw-yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose is perfumed with delicate floral aromas complemented by melon, apple, and subtle citrus notes. On the palate, it is soft and fruity, with a beautifully balanced structure and a long, refreshing finish. Food match Perfect with seafood pasta, grilled fish, shellfish, and soft cheeses. It also pairs wonderfully with light vegetarian dishes and fresh salads. Grape Pecorino 100%

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
