This Côte de Beaune's only red Grand Cru, the famous Corton appellation needs no introduction. Like all wines from Maison Drouhin, the 2017 is a true success! A powerful nose that makes way for notes of candied fruit, developing spicy and musky tones with age. When young, this wine is full bodied but not harsh on the palate. A good Corton is recognized by its richness, which balances the tannin and the essential acidity. The aromas are very persistent and make us think of candied fruits at the first nose. It's all simply marvelous!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
