From the organically farmed Bastonaca vineyard where the soils are more clay dominant, comes this rich, structured style of Cerasuolo that really packs a punch. Bright red fruit dominate the palate with lingering floral and tobacco notes. Balanced with acidity and integrated tannins, this medium-bodied red is sure to leave a lasting impression. The 2020 Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico Della Bastonaca is impossible to ignore, offering an exotic bouquet that blends incense and nectarine with a hint of clove. It sweeps across the palate, minerally intense as a saturation of tart red and black fruit adds cheek-puckering tension. Edgy tannins resonate while the 2020 finishes long and pleasantly chewy. Spicy and smoky, with black pepper, graphite, coffee grounds, leather and dark wild fruit. Medium- to full-bodied, showing firm, chalky tannins with crisp acidity, a tight palate and an austere finish. From organically grown grapes.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
