Made from old vines, this cuvée reflects the diversity of Rioja, with its soils ranging from rounded pebbles to clay-limestone. These terroirs, combined with vines aged between 30 and 80 years, lend the wine freshness, precision and depth. A blend predominantly of Garnacha, complemented by Tempranillo and Graciano, this cuvée is vinified using a gentle approach: low-temperature fermentation in concrete and stainless steel vats, with some carbonic maceration to preserve the fruit's freshness. Six months' ageing in various containers concrete vats, new and used oak barrels gives the wine structure without overpowering it. The nose opens with intense aromas of cherry, raspberry and blackberry, enhanced by floral notes and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is juicy, carried by a lovely freshness.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
