For several decades, Jean-Michel Gérin has embodied the excellence of Côte-Rôtie. A true benchmark for the appellation, his Côte-Bodin 2022 is a cuvée full of character and elegance. Made from old vines on the hillsides, it seduces with an intense nose of black fruits, violets, black pepper and subtle smoky and woody notes. The palate reveals a dense but perfectly chiselled texture, supported by a mineral structure that prolongs the finish with refinement. A wine that is already superb in its youth, but which will gain even more complexity after a few years of ageing. A must for lovers of great Syrahs!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
