Source-supplied bottle description

An iconic producer of Burgundian sparkling wines, Veuve Ambal crafts its crémants using the traditional method, paying particular attention to the finesse of the bubbles and the balance of the blends. This Blanc de Noirs Brut is composed mainly of Pinot Noir, complemented by a touch of Gamay, resulting in a style that is more structured and full-bodied than a classic crémant. The grapes come from the clay-limestone terroirs of the Burgundy vineyards, lending balance and aromatic precision. Hand-harvesting and slow pressing help to preserve the integrity of the berries and the quality of the juice. After blending, the bottles are aged for over 12 months on racks in the house’s cellars to develop aromatic complexity and a fine mousse. The wine reveals a particularly expressive profile, characterised by notes of candied fruit, red berries and sweet spices. On the palate, it combines freshness, richness and balance, carried by fine bubbles and a harmonious finish.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
