Source-supplied bottle description

Since 1975, the Crémant de Loire appellation has continued to gain recognition for the typicality of its clay-limestone terroir. De Chanceny is the emblem of fine Loire bubbles made using the Traditional Method. The subtle blend of the two grape varieties that make up this cuvée, combined with careful ageing in the tuffeau galleries, give it freshness and finesse.

The Blend

of Cabernet Franc, a typical Saumur grape variety, and Grolleau makes this cuvée charming and distinctive, with its pronounced aromas of red fruit. The attack is lively, with a lovely aromatic intensity. The palate is well-balanced, enhanced by a fresh finish with rich aromas of strawberry, rose and cherry. An elegant, gourmet and unique cuvée.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
