Read the retailer’s description

The description below is the retailer’s own wording.

The diversity of the terroirs is an important value of the Domaine. This is why the latter owns a few plots of vines in the Bourgueil appellation. Made from the same grape variety as in Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil, Cabernet Franc expresses itself differently in Bourgueil. With very calcareous soils, the “Vieilles Vignes” cuvée is structured, rich and always accompanied by a great liveliness typical of wines from this appellation. Indeed, it is the limestone rock that gives the great wines of Bourgueil this amplitude and this finish full of vivacity!
