The description below is the retailer’s own wording.
In a historic vineyard on steep terraces protected by the surrounding cliffs, the Rieslings reach perfect ripeness. From soils of slate and volcanoes, Dellchen GG opens with a radiant, bright, pure, flinty bouquet of subtle mirabelle plums, very elegant but delicate, and Amalfi lemon fruit intermixed with notes of slate. On the palate, this is a subtle and delicate Riesling, filigree, long, saline, stimulating and always lifted with perfectly ripe, lush fruit and fine tannins. This Dellchen is intense but never heavy. It's an immaculate, highly emotional Riesling.
