Enjoy now or cellar for up to 10 years. Decanting is optional, up to 30 minutes before serving. This red wine from the Côtes de Nuits is a dark cherry red in the glass, loaded with aromas of raspberry, liquorice, cranberry, spice, and iron-rich earth. It is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, plucked from high-altitude vineyards above Nuits St George’s, this is an intriguing wine with excellent purity of fruit, that really captures the vibrant character of Burgundy. Domaine A.F. Gros, named for its first owner, Anne-Francoise, was founded in 1988 when Jean Gros, the head of the Gros family, divided their sizeable estate among his children. Since 2019, the winery has been run by Anne-Francoise’ children, who source the winery’s grapes from 11 hectares within the regions of Vosne-Romanee and Beaujolais, and some of the most celebrated Pinot Noir appellations in Burgundy. On the palate, this wine is light to medium-bodied, marked with fine, gripping tannins and racy acidity. You can discover flavours of cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, in the mouth with undercurrents of cool minerality. It was matured in oak barrels, but shows a minimum of oak flavour. It will make an excellent partner for poultry, charcuterie, and hard cheeses.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
