Daniel Séguinot Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume is an intense, sensual, and complex Premier Cru wine from one of Chablis’ most respected producers. Based in Maligny on the right bank of the River Serein, Domaine Daniel Séguinot et Filles has a reputation for crafting elegant Chablis that reflect the unique Kimmeridgian terroir of northern Burgundy.
Production
The grapes are sourced from a small 4-hectare holding on south-west facing Kimmeridgian slopes, which ensure full ripeness even in the marginal northern climate. The wine undergoes classic cool fermentation in stainless steel at 15–18°C, preserving the delicate aromatics and purity of fruit.
Tasting Notes
This Chablis offers very fine fruit aromas with a textured, layered palate. It displays classic saline acidity and finesse, finishing with elegance and balance. Food match Serve lightly chilled to best enjoy its rich fruit and mineral character. Perfectly complements seafood and stronger-flavoured fish such as crab, smoked haddock, or lobster. Grape Chardonnay
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
