Source-supplied bottle description

The Mitjavile family is renowned for its artisanal and meticulous approach to winemaking, prioritising perfectly ripe grapes, careful ageing and wines of great depth, which are both powerful and elegant. Grown on clay-limestone soils, this 100% Sauvignon Blanc is hand-harvested to preserve the fruit's full purity. The winemaking process combines skin contact and full malolactic fermentation, followed by 12 months' ageing in new oak barrels. The nose captivates with aromas of ripe yellow fruit, white flowers and a delicate toasty note. On the palate, the attack is full-bodied and silky, underpinned by a lovely freshness that balances the richness of the wine. The long, subtly briny finish characterises a precise and elegant wine. A white Bordeaux with character, combining aromatic intensity, texture and finesse.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
