At Domaine de la Solitude, the red wine is the result of meticulous work, inspired by the region's finest wines. On warm gravelly soils particularly favourable to the ripening of Cabernet, the vines express all the depth and complexity of their terroir. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand at perfect ripeness, with meticulous sorting both in the vineyard and on arrival. A triple sorting is then carried out in the winery to retain only the highest-quality berries, ensuring a wine of great purity. Vinification in concrete vats, carried out gently, prioritises balance and finesse over excessive extraction. Carefully controlled maceration reveals silky tannins, precise fruit and lovely aromatic freshness. Fourteen months' ageing in French oak barrels brings depth, complexity and harmony. The wine matures gradually to achieve an elegant and structured expression, true to its terroir.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
