The Domaine Pellé Menetou-Salon is a stunning, terroir-driven white from the star of Menetou, combining ripe white peach, blackcurrant leaf, and citrus zest with elegant mineral undertones and a slightly creamy, honeyed finish. Fresh acidity and balance make it both refreshing and sophisticated.

Meet the Producer

Straddling the Loire appellations of Sancerre and Menetou-Salon, Domaine Pellé produces world-renowned, terroir-expressive wines. The estate focuses on precision and quality, highlighting the unique characteristics of each vineyard parcel.

Production

Grapes are sourced from seven parcels in Morogues, planted on Kimmeridgian limestone-clay marl soils. The vineyards face south-west, south, or south-east to maximise morning sun exposure. Each parcel is vinified separately, then left on fine lees until bottling, with regular stirring to enhance richness and complexity.

Tasting Notes

The palate delivers refreshing citrus, nettle, and grassy characters, balanced with minerality and a gentle creamy, honeyed finish. Food Match Serve chilled as an aperitif or with shellfish and delicate white fish, particularly with creamy parsley or dill sauces. Grape Varieties Sauvignon Blanc 100%

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
