Sourced from the Iron Filbert Vineyard in the Dundee Hills. 100% barrel fermented and aged on lees for 10 months in 20% new French oak. On the palate, golden apple and pear are layered with citrus and floral notes. A creamy texture and vibrant acidity are complemented by the volcanic minerality of the Dundee Hills, giving the wine depth and energy. Blend: 100% Chardonnay Aromas of confit lemon, salted nuts, sourdough toast, Asian pears and flint. The palate is medium-bodied with focused acidity and a textural, rounded mouthfeel. A very stylish and classy chardonnay. Drink or hold. The 2023 Chardonnay Iron Filbert Vineyard is savory in the glass, with nuances of nectarine and crushed rocks complicated by lemon zest. Sleek and racy, it shows a strong mineral core and juicy acidity that balance as tart orchard fruits settle on the senses. Tight and full of youthful tension, it tapers off with citrusy concentration that puckers the cheeks. The 2023 Chardonnay Iron Filbert Vineyard, sourced from the Dundee Hills, boasts a bright silver/yellow hue and is characterized by floral notes of fresh linen, pear, and lemon pith. It's bright and cuts through the palate with a vertical spine of fresh acidity, a chalky texture, and driving citrus through the finish. Rating: 93+
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
