Tollot-Beaut's Aloxe-Corton is from vines planted between 1973 and 1993. The wine shows aromas and flavors of red cherries, red plum, violets, and earth with bright acidity and moderate tannins. It aged for 18 months in 30% new Burgundian pièce. Piercing scents of rose, raspberry, cherry, kirsch, vanilla and toasty oak permeate this elegant red. Solidly built, with a line of firm yet refined tannins lending support as this plays out gracefully on the long, mineral-tinged finish. Best from 2028 through 2042. Now in a new barrel so therefore racked from an old. Medium crimson purple, a lively fruit, not too thick, with a little bit of spice. A fine rounded mouthful, a little caressing oak to finish, adequate acidity and good length. Drink from 2027-2031. Tasted Oct 2024.Barrel Sample: 89-91
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
