Official US label evidence
Historical Texas label approval
One official label approval has the same normalised product name as this BottlePicker record. These approvals pre-date September 2021 and help check identity, stated ABV and the responsible trade name; they do not prove that the current bottle has the same formula, remains registered or is available in Texas.

Dominio de Atauta is a complex and intense Ribera del Duero red, showing black cherry, plum, smoky mocha, and subtle garrigue notes, with fine-grained tannins and elegant freshness.
Meet the Producer
Dominio de Atauta is located in the remote Atauta Valley in eastern Ribera del Duero. The estate is renowned for its pre-phylloxera Tinto Fino vines, some over 120 years old, offering wines of remarkable intensity, structure, and terroir expression.
Production
Made from 100% Tinto Fino sourced from gobelet-pruned, pre-phylloxera vines. Grapes are hand-harvested between late September and mid-October, then destemmed and pressed. Fermentation occurs in a combination of stainless steel, concrete, and French oak, with a 13-day maceration. The wine is aged 17 months in 100% French oak barrels and bottled unfiltered.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of black cherry, plum, and smoky mocha lead to ripe, powerful fruit with a wild, brooding character. Hints of garrigue emerge as the wine opens. The tannins are substantial yet fine-grained, giving structure while maintaining elegance. A wine to decant for an hour before drinking; best enjoyed over the next 2–10 years. Food Match Ideal with roast lamb, premium beef cuts, or game. Grape Varieties Tempranillo 100%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
