Williams & Humbert Dry Sack Medium is a rich, harmonious Sherry from Jerez, Spain, crafted from a blend of Palomino and Pedro Ximenez grapes. Aged for a minimum of six years using the Solera and Criadera system, it offers a bright amber colour, a delicate yet deep bouquet with nutty aromas, and a full, mellow palate with elegant balance. With 19.5% ABV, it combines richness and smoothness, making it a versatile fortified wine.
Meet the Producer
Founded in 1877 by two Englishmen in Jerez de la Frontera, Williams & Humbert is internationally recognised for its award-winning Sherry portfolio. Located in the Sherry Triangle, the winery benefits from a unique microclimate ideal for producing high-quality fortified wines.
Production
Amontillado, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez Sherries are first aged for a minimum of three years in the Dry Sack Criaderas. They are then blended together and returned to the Dry Sack Criadera and Solera for a further ageing of over three years, giving a minimum total ageing of six years. This careful blending and maturation develop depth, harmony, and a smooth, mellow character.
Tasting Notes
Bright amber in colour, with a delicate yet deep bouquet showing hints of nuts. The palate is full, harmonious, and mellow, with a refined, lingering finish. Food match Pairs well with poultry, creamy cheeses, light pâtés, or as an aperitif. Grape Palomino, Pedro Ximenez
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
