Born on the deep gravel soils of Saint-Julien, Éclat de Branaire-Ducru is the direct and sincere expression of a great terroir: the precision of Cabernet Sauvignon, the roundness of Merlot, and that thread of mineral freshness that runs right through to the finish. The 2022 vintage, exceptional for its ripeness and balance, lends it a rare generosity without ever losing its elegance. In the glass, it opens with vibrant black fruit, spicy notes and a floral hint. On the palate, the tannins are well-integrated, the body is dense yet never heavy, and the liveliness sustains the finish. A Saint-Julien to enjoy now or to lay down for a few years in the cellar. Either way, it will not disappoint.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
