Drink it now. No need to decant. Located in the small town of Barile, in the Basilicata region of southern Italy, the Elena Fucci winery was founded in the early 2000s. Over the years, the young company quickly established a reputation for the high quality of its wines, revealing to the world the enormous potential of the terroir of this part of Italy, which is still little known to the general public. The Aglianico grapes for this rosé come from the estate's youngest vineyards (6 to 10 years old), located in the village of Barile on the slopes of the ancient Vulture volcano. The vigor of the young vines, the volcanic soil, and the unique microclimate of the area guarantee the production of a lively, mineral, and balanced wine. After manual harvesting, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, and the finished wine ages for a couple of months in the bottle before being released for sale. Titolo Pink Edition is a youthful and fresh wine characterized by a bright, clear rosé color. On the nose, it reveals a fresh aromatic profile with notes of wild strawberries and cherries, citrus, and lavender flowers. On the palate, it is soft, rounded, savory, and mineral. It tastes of juicy berries, has a pronounced acidity, and a long, crisp finish with nuances of exotic spices and mint. It is perfect with grilled fish and seafood, and also on its own as an aperitif.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
