Amaluna Rosé is one of the first organic sparkling wines produced in Chile by Emiliana , crafted to celebrate femininity and nature. Its name combines “ama,” meaning mother in many languages, and “luna,” meaning moon, evoking the mother-daughter relationship and the idea of a goddess protecting the planet. This delicate rosé offers a playful yet refined expression, with fresh summer fruit aromas and a lively, textural palate.
Meet the Producer
Emiliana is one of Chile's most exciting producers and pioneers in organic and biodynamic winemaking. Since 1998, the winery has been dedicated to producing wines that are both environmentally responsible and expressive of their terroir.
Production
The grapes are sourced from the Casablanca Valley, influenced by Pacific breezes that moderate temperatures. The soils are shallow, alluvial, sandy loam with low nutrients, producing low yields but intensely flavoured fruit. Grapes are hand-picked, transported chilled to the Palmeras winery in Colchagua, and pressed the following day. The must is decanted for clean juice and fermented before being left on fine lees with weekly battonage to enhance complexity. A second fermentation using the traditional champenoise method develops the sparkling character, followed by 6 months on the lees, disgorgement, and dosage addition.
Tasting Notes
Delicate pale pink in colour, with aromas of strawberry and brioche. The palate is lively with fresh summer fruits, a hint of creaminess, gentle acidity, and a long, clean finish. Food Match Perfect with raspberry ripple ice cream, fruit salads, or light summer desserts. Grape Varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
