“Wine is an art. If you know how to listen, it speaks to you, it lets you know when it needs racking and rest. It’s just like a living creature that we have to understand, tend to and care for,” said Emilio Moro, founder of the estate that bears his name. Three generations later, this philosophy continues under José and Javier Moro in the world-famous village of Pesquera de Duero, Ribera del Duero. The brothers focus on creating wines with individuality and personality, rejecting traditional classifications such as Crianza and Reserva. Their portfolio includes cherished reds from Tinto Fino, a prized clone of Tempranillo, and vibrant whites from Godello in Bierzo. Viticulture The wine bearing the Moro name is the flagship of the estate. Since 1998, it has been produced from vineyards that were formerly reserved for the Crianzas and Reservas, benefitting from low yields to enhance concentration and elegance.
Winemaking
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged in a combination of new and old French and American oak barrels, allowing both varietal purity and subtle oak character to shine. Tasting Note Elegant and refined, this Tempranillo is powerful yet balanced, with exceptional elegance. The nose reveals refined fruit aromas complemented by hints of oak, expressing both the variety and the terroir. On the palate, it mirrors the aromatic profile, offering strength, depth, and mellow, well-integrated tannins. Food Matching Highly versatile, this wine pairs beautifully with both red and white meats, and is excellent with a selection of Tapas.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
