Entre Les Vents meaning ‘Between the Winds’ Côtes du Rhône Villages Rouge is a step up from the classic appellation, sourced from the prestigious Sainte Cécile village in the Southern Rhône. Produced by Colombes des Vignes, one of the most famous and well-regarded producers in the Southern Rhône, founded in 1936 with access to over 1,000 hectares of vines. The nose greets with inviting aromas of sweet spices and rich fruit jam, while the palate is full and rounded, revealing notes of black fruits and a subtle smokiness, all beautifully supported by fine, elegant tannins.

Why You'll Love It

This is Côtes du Rhône Villages from the Sainte Cécile appellation a notch above the standard Côtes du Rhône designation, with stricter yield limits and a more specific terroir. Produced by Colombes des Vignes, one of the most experienced and respected co-operatives in the Southern Rhône, the wine benefits from old vines on hillsides with stony and clay-limestone soils, and the exceptional climatic influence of the Mistral wind which enhances sunshine and supports optimal ripening. Cultivation under the HVE (High Environmental Value) standard ensures quality practices throughout. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats with daily pump-overs during a three-week vatting period, with 10% of the wine aged for 12 months in 400-litre French oak (20% new) to add depth, complexity, and subtle smokiness. At 14% ABV, this is a full, generous Southern Rhône red with real structure and ageing potential. Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
