Official geographic-register context

What the official register confirms about Languedoc

BottlePicker found an exact region-name match in an official wine or spirits register. This establishes useful regional context; it does not by itself prove that this particular bottle is entitled to the designation. Check the producer label and specification for that claim.

Les Grands Chais de France Entrecôte is a richly expressive red wine from the Languedoc, showing dense purple-red colour in the glass. The wine offers aromas of wild berries, plum mousse, mulberries and rum pot, complemented by hints of other ripe fruits. On the palate, it is fruity, velvety and smooth, with a lingering finish that reveals subtle mineral notes from the clay and limestone soils. Vinification The wine is crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes grown on clay and limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness, sorted and gently crushed before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is aged on its fine lees for several months to enhance texture and complexity before bottling.

Tasting Notes

Food match Serve at 15–18 °C with lamb stew, Thai cucumber salad, arugula penne, or a classic grilled entrecôte. Grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
