Grown on south-facing loess soils sheltered from the north winds, this Ermitage reveals a unique character and identity! What makes this cuvée special? The Philippe et Vincent Jaboulet estate is the only one to cultivate and produce this appellation using 100% Roussanne. This grape variety is low-yielding, with tightly packed bunches that lend finesse and delicacy on the palate. Even in its youth, this Ermitage offers lovely aromas of honey, pear and peach, gradually evolving into a subtle complexity with notes of herbal tea, acacia and hawthorn thanks to its excellent ageing potential!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
