Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Feudi di San Gregorio, one of southern Italy's leading wine houses in the Neapolitan hinterland, Feudi 1986 is a high-quality sparkling wine made from 100% Falanghina. Produced using the Charmat method, which borrows the second fermentation in the bottle from Champagne traditions, this brut spumante evokes the delicate fragrance of its grape variety (one of the oldest in Italy): lemon blossom and peach. Hailing from the wine-growing territories of Irpinia, a historic region of Campania blessed with a microclimate suited to the production of fine wines (the sumptuous whites and reds of Feudi di San Gregorio), the Falanghina Spumante Brut Feudi 1986 is a fresh and fruity sparkling wine, with a silky texture and fine bubbles. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with fresh, light summer dishes, such as a Caprese salad, a Neapolitan culinary speciality.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
