Felino Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant and expressive Cabernet Sauvignon from Vina Cobos, one of Mendoza's most celebrated wineries. Founded by renowned winemaker Paul Hobbs in 1999, Vina Cobos focuses on authentic expressions of terroir across Mendoza's distinguished Lujan de Cuyo and Valle de Uco regions. The result is a wine of remarkable balance, texture and character, crafted with meticulous vineyard management and a profound respect for the land. Viticulture The grapes are sourced from vineyards in Valle de Uco and Lujan de Cuyo, situated at altitudes between 2,306 and 3,927 feet. The semi-desert climate, with intense sunlight and significant diurnal temperature variation, contributes to concentrated fruit and distinctive varietal character.
Winemaking
Fermentation takes place in closed-top stainless steel tanks using a combination of selected and native yeasts. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels to add structure, complexity and aromatic refinement while preserving the freshness of the fruit.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in colour with dark tones, offering aromas of red pepper, fresh red fruits and hints of white pepper. The palate is textured and balanced, supported by fantastically chewy tannins and leading to a satisfying, long finish.
Perfect Pairings
Pairs beautifully with semi-hard cheeses, pasta with tomato sauce, meatballs, lasagne and skirt steak. An excellent choice for relaxed dining and casual entertaining.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
