Feudo Maccari Olli Grillo is a vibrant and textural organic Grillo from bush vines grown in Noto, on the sun-drenched southern tip of Sicily. This wine captures the essence of its Mediterranean terroir, offering aromas of almonds, peaches, and subtle citrus, complemented by a lightly spicy, layered palate. Fresh, multi-dimensional, and expressive, it showcases the varietal character of Grillo while reflecting the warmth and minerality of the Syracuse landscape.
Meet the Producer
Located in Noto near Avola, Feudo Maccari was acquired by Antonio Moretti and has become one of Sicily’s most respected estates, known for producing wines that combine tradition, modern technique, and a deep respect for the land.
Production
The Grillo vines average 25 years of age and are south-facing at 80 metres above sea level. Grapes are harvested and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness, aromatic purity, and textural complexity.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and lightly honeyed on the nose with nutty notes and hints of citrus peel. The palate is complex and layered, showing touches of mandarin, stone fruits, and delicate white spice on the textured mid-palate. Food Match Pairs beautifully with grilled fish, seafood risotto, and pasta dishes. Grape Varieties Grillo 100%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
