Source-supplied bottle description

A classic blend of Pinot Noir with a majority of Chardonnay (85%), this Franciacorta Brut exemplifies Ferghettina's elegant and assertive style. Crafted from the estate's finest vineyards, organically farmed and hand-harvested south of Lake Iseo (in the province of Brescia, Lombardy), this cuvée embodies the very soul of the house. Shaped by the cool, temperate climate of the Alpine region, the grapes are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks, then blended and bottled using the Metodo Classico second fermentation process (the same as that used to produce Champagne), before ageing on lees for two years. The result is a Brut sparkling wine containing very little residual sugar, with fine, lively bubbles, a creamy mousse and a complex aromatic profile typical of the appellation: ripe orchard fruits (peach, apple), white flowers, notes of citrus and spices (lemon and ginger), and hints of salt and brioche... The fresh, full-bodied palate and lingering finish are the final touches that win you over.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
